This amp combines 3 different mods into 1 (being the large Capacitor on the S1 and Headphones, Audio amplification, EMI Shield) and with it’s flex pcb is super slim and really easy to solder on with just 4 solder points. The amp has the following features:
1.5W Output (per manufacturer’s Datasheet) capable of driving a variety of speakers including the 2W speaker I offer
Now with adjustable Potentiometer to adjust overall volume range to increase or decrease max volume (V1.3 only)
Superior Low Noise
Three high quality Tantalum Capacitor to filter the power and noise to the amp as well as the GBA 3.3v Line (Eliminates another popular mod which is a Large Capacitor soldered to the Headphone socket)
Built in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) filter layer (Black Layer on Back of PCB) to further reduce noise and interference affecting Amplified Audio (only amp on the market with this feature)
4 Easy to solder points to complete the install
Complete Silence when volume wheel is set to low
Fully compatible with original speaker and requires no additional modding to fit
Original design and not a clone of any other product, designed with easy installation in mind for everyone
NOTE: 1 Amp and 5 Amps in the drop down list is the option for 1 or 5 units of the Amp, NOT 1 Amp of power and 5 Amps of power.
Installation:
This amp does NOT omit the need for the Flex Power Cleaner or a good Recap Kit like the one I also sell (you can get your own capacitors for this purpose as well). These other mods are all complimentary to one another and installing all 3 will give you the best results for Cleaner Audio.
